Good afternoon Resident Here’s our weekly round up from the Tyburn neighbourhood policing team. What’s been happening: Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have charged an offender for a breach of a community protection notice. A community protection notice is a final stage warning, if the offender breaches the agreed conditions of their CPN then they can either be charged or arrested or both.Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have assisted force criminal investigation department in charging a male in relation to a burglary at the Fort.Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have made 2 arrests for recall to prison. A recall happens when an offender is bailed and then proceeds to breach their conditions.Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have been responding to incidents in Tyburn and the wider Birmingham area. Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have conducted a plain clothes operation on Tyburn retail parks. We aim to do these periodically with an objective to drive down retail crime. Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have organised and conducted an off-road bike operation on Castle Vale with the help of PCSO’S. Traffic officers were on Castle Vale, 3 motorbikes and 2 offroad motorcycles patrolled the area and were in contact with Tyburn Neighbourhood team who were also on the ground. A stolen bike was recovered and 2 offenders were detained.PCSO’S have conducted a Pop-Up police station at the Sainsbury’s on Castle Vale.
